"Foster Family Appreciation Day - Day of Honor"
Hello! Welcome to the HCC volunteer sign up for this year’s “Foster Family Appreciation Day - Day of Honor.” The event will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 11am-2pm, in Bel Air, MD
We have been invited to serve with the Harford County Department of Social Services at their annual “Foster Family Appreciation Day.” On this day, DSS honors foster parents by recognizing their years of dedicated service. All foster families of Harford County are invited to come out and have some fun. There will be lunch, inflatables, balloons, Kona Ice, and more!
HCC will provide volunteer teams to serve in a variety of ways on this special day. A primary roles is to serve as Family Guides for the registered families. We will be matched with families upon arrival and join them for the awards program, for lunch, and for the fun activities following lunch. We hope to make connections with kids and parents, to support and encourage the entire foster family.
Other volunteer opportunities are available: serving at fun and games stations to welcome and engage guests, face painting, helping with set up and clean up, etc.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You don't have to go through the grieving process alone.
