Our Men's Small Groups meet Saturday mornings at 8 am and also on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm in the youth room downstairs.
The Saturday morning group will be going on summer break beginning in July and will restart in the fall.
What we believe:
Here at HCC, we believe that every person is important to God and that He sent His only Son into the world to die for their sins. Men often have struggles that they have a difficult time admitting or expressing to others. Our Men's Ministry seeks to be a safe place where men can express their struggles or fears without condemnation and knowing that their communication will be held in confidence. We believe that it is important that we love and care for one another, helping each other to grow and become more like Jesus. As men, it is essential for us to become strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, learning to put on the armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, we may be able to stand. We believe it is important to become all that God has created us to be and to share His love with those we encounter.
What makes Men's Small Group worth being a part of?
"Its a safe place where men can express their struggles and relate to other men who are learning to trust Jesus." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
"It's where men can study God's word together and grow into the men that God desires them to become." (Eph 2:10)
"It's a safe place where men build each other up and hold each other accountable." (Prov. 27:17)
"It's a place where we can learn to love God and to also love other people." (Matthew 22:37-39)
"It's a place where we speak the truth to each other in order to grow and become disciples of Jesus." (Eph 4:15)
